Lindsey's good friend Lys is having a baby!! Oliver adores Lys - as you can tell in the pictures below. We can't wait to meet her little bundle of joy!

One of Lindsey's favorite times of day is hearing Oliver giggling on the monitor when he wakes up from his nap... and this is the sweet smiling face that she sees when walking into the room.

Happy Halloween!

Oliver had an amazing first Halloween. He was a race car driver and we were his crew (Daddy was his pit crew and Mommy was his trophy/flag girl). We had a great time with the King family, Meme, and Poppy!

There is a park close to our house and Oliver loves to swing. The video below is his very first time in a swing and as you can tell he enjoyed it so we go back all the time!

Action packed weekend with Nana

We had an action packed weekend when Nana came to visit filled with many "firsts" for Oliver.


Oliver went to his first dog show and got to see Nana show her dog Chatty.



We had such an awesome time with the Chamness family at the UW/Stanford football game. He loved playing with Sarah and Natalie and even took a nap during the game.

Pumpkin Fun!

I love being a parent for many reasons and one of them is you have an excuse to do all the fun activities during the holidays. I haven't carved a pumpkin in around 10 years, so I was very excited to carve pumpkins with Oliver!!


Meme went with us to the pumpkin patch were we had fun on the tea cup ride!


We picked out a pumpkin just the right size for Oliver.

This is how I bounce like crazy!!

Here is a video of Oliver now that he's gotten the hang of bouncing around. It's a lot of fun for everyone - him bouncing and us watching.

Oliver started a little rice cereal last week. He seems to enjoy it.

He keeps most of the cereal where it belongs.

Until of course it's time to sneeze then he's a bit more messy.

Busy day - Ollie's Baptism and Mommy's Birthday

During our trip to Washington we also had Oliver baptized. He was baptized at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church where Lindsey grew up and many family events have occurred. The baptism was on Lindsey's birthday - October 9th!

We went to a wedding for Rachelle (one of Lindsey's cousins) and had a fun time. Oliver is a pro at going to weddings now.

I can talk with Dolphins

Lately, Oliver has been squealing more than talking, so we had to capture it on video. Maybe he thinks he is a dolphin?? Or, a honey badger?? :)

We are lucky because Oliver likes getting his diaper changed ... especially when Daddy gives him zerberts!

This is how I jump!!

Oliver has always love to kick his legs. So we finally got the jumper out and it's his new favorite thing.

This is a video of his first time in the jumper. Not quite coordinated in his jumps yet, but now he's a jump pro. He can spend 40 mins in the jumper pretty much constantly jumping. Even when he gets tired of the jumping and starts fussing...he continues to jump.

Oliver loves spending time with Brendan and Cameron and giggles the whole time

This is how I roll!!

So Oliver figured out how to roll from his back to his stomach and he loves to do his new 'trick' all of the time. The problem is he hasn't quite figured out how to roll back to his back and eventually gets upset he's on his stomach. Which really isn't a big deal, but he also rolls to his stomach in his sleep, which wakes him up. So our good little sleeper is not quite as good right now.
