Here are Oliver's first pictures with Santa. We had a great time and Oliver made us laugh because he kept looking up at Santa like he wanted to grab his beard. Good thing it was a real one!

Christmas in the Park

It is so much fun having a child during the holidays because now I have an excuse to do all the fun activities! We had a great time at Christmas in the Park in San Jose.

Variety of fun in November

We go on a walk to the park almost every day, so I wanted to show some recent pictures. I've also included a cute picture of Oliver in the jumper that he also enjoys.

This picture makes me smile because he is so serious. He wanted to reach for things and was having a hard time with the gloves on his hands.


Here's the picture in the jumper. He kept looking at me when he was turned the other way. It was so adorable and I'm glad I was able to get a picture of it.

Thanksgiving Festivities

Lindsey's family drove down from WA for Thanksgiving and we had an amazing time!! Thanks Patti and Chuck for being such amazing hosts.


Oliver was all smiles because he had both sets of grandparents doting on him Thanksgiving morning!

We have a semi-tradition of going to the car show in SF the day after Thanksgiving. We enjoyed going with Oliver, our families, and the Smith's.


After the car show we went to the Stinking Rose in SF. It was our first time feeding Oliver solid foods in a restaurant, so we had to document it. Haha!!

Baby Shower for Lys

Lindsey's good friend Lys is having a baby!! Oliver adores Lys - as you can tell in the pictures below. We can't wait to meet her little bundle of joy!

One of Lindsey's favorite times of day is hearing Oliver giggling on the monitor when he wakes up from his nap... and this is the sweet smiling face that she sees when walking into the room.

Happy Halloween!

Oliver had an amazing first Halloween. He was a race car driver and we were his crew (Daddy was his pit crew and Mommy was his trophy/flag girl). We had a great time with the King family, Meme, and Poppy!

Swinging at the park

There is a park close to our house and Oliver loves to swing. The video below is his very first time in a swing and as you can tell he enjoyed it so we go back all the time!

Action packed weekend with Nana

We had an action packed weekend when Nana came to visit filled with many "firsts" for Oliver.


Oliver went to his first dog show and got to see Nana show her dog Chatty.



We had such an awesome time with the Chamness family at the UW/Stanford football game. He loved playing with Sarah and Natalie and even took a nap during the game.

Pumpkin Fun!

I love being a parent for many reasons and one of them is you have an excuse to do all the fun activities during the holidays. I haven't carved a pumpkin in around 10 years, so I was very excited to carve pumpkins with Oliver!!


Meme went with us to the pumpkin patch were we had fun on the tea cup ride!


We picked out a pumpkin just the right size for Oliver.

This is how I bounce like crazy!!

Oliver started a little rice cereal last week. He seems to enjoy it.

He keeps most of the cereal where it belongs.

Until of course it's time to sneeze then he's a bit more messy.
